Although this is not the first letter of recommendation you have received from us, I want you to know that we only pass on our thoughts when we feel they are truly deserved by the recipient. In this instance, that recipient is Erwin Jerez.
For the last two year, Erwin has been the point man for installation on our biggest event of the year. The client is smart, educated in construction and very particular, and Erwin has matched him in every way.
This year’s event was plagued by rain and bad weather threatened to ruin an outdoor area – one of the event’s features – our premium scotch and cigar lounge. It would have been a disaster for us and our client. With only 3 hours until guest arrival, Erwin suggested we cover the outdoor area with its own tent. Not a pop up, a custom tent to match the existing structure. While this may seem simple, his suggestion meant a lot more work for him and his crew; and with very little time to accomplish it.
They were done with time to spare, and the scotch lounge was the most popular area of the entire, beautiful event; so successful in fact that we used the idea twice more with equally impressive results. Erwin embraced the event as if it were his own, because that is what the people at Town & Country do. He made more work for himself so that we and our client would be more successful. This is a rare thing. You all should be proud. We feel very fortunate to be able to rely on people like Erwin.

I would like to thank Town & Country, especially Art and David, for their tireless work on the Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens Art Show set-up. What used to be an extremely difficult process (dealing with a temp agency that had workers who couldn't handle the work load) has turned out to be a pleasure. We just hand over the set-up documents to Art and David and the work gets done. No complaints, no mistakes, no problems. I've been doing this show for 10 years and the last two shows that we contracted out to Town & Country have been the easiest and the best.

On behalf of the Andre Sobel River of Life Foundation and the families we serve, we wish to thank you for your understanding of the circumstances surrounding the Begin the Beguine Fundraising Dinner, which took place on Saturday, November 15, 2008. At a time when we needed it most, you granted us the flexibility we needed to make the decision that was best for the Foundation and its guests.
The Santa Barbara Tea Fires forced us to consider either cancelling or relocating the event. It is only because of the outpouring of support from people like you, that we were able to successfully move the event to the Peninsula Beverly Hills in less than 24 hours. As a result, we raised $45,000 and were honored to have Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa himself to speak on our behalf. We could not have done this if it weren't for your incredible generosity of waiving all fees and payments.
Thank you for being a friend of our Foundation, whose mission is to pay urgent expenses for single parents of children with life-threatening illnesses when all other resources are exhausted. We pay rent, mortgage, utility, food and gas expenses when families face the duel tragedy of medical and financial crisis, and want nothing more than to attend to the needs of the sick child. Without your support, some children would be facing hospitalization, treatment, and at times even their death, without a parent by their side.

I can't thank you enough for Town & Country's contribution to the Los Angeles Conservancy. This surprise party for the first 20-year employee, who is the volunteer coordinator, was a huge success. The afternoon was filled with love and appreciation for Connie and her contributions to the organization, as volunteers contribute enormously to the mission of the organization. The party accommodations made possible by Town & Country made the day a logistical success, which means that the people factor was in full play.

I can't even begin to thank you enough for the spectacular job your team performed for Share Our Strengh. Our annual fundraiser in Media Park, Culver City, on June 25th was our second annual "Walk in the Park", all ticket sales for which are distributed to worthy local charities benefiting children's hunger programs.
Our 2006 event was even more successful than the last, a virtually flawless event. Much of the thanks for this must be handed to you and your team. Everyone we worked with was so professional, friendly and cooperative, despite working under a deadline in the hot sun.
